What if I forget my username or password?
Please send an email to admin@chinesehorizon.com and your username and password
will be sent to you.
Why can't I log in?
If you are not able to log in, first make sure you have not inserted an extra space before your username or password, and that you have spelt them correctly, in lower case. If you have forgotten your user name or password, please request a reminder from admin@chinesehorizon.com. Finally, make sure that your security settings are set to 'Default' or 'Medium' (depending on your versions of Internet Explorer and Windows). You can check this by going to Tools>Internet Options>Security.
Why can't I go on to the next page in the lesson?
If the downloading is stuck somewhere, please clear the temporary internet files first in your explorer, Steps: click on tools - internet options - delete files(in the middle) - ok, then refresh the page.
How can I review a specific activity in a lesson?
You can jump to a specific activity by quickly clicking the arrows at the right/left bottom of the screen before the current activity has finished loading (apart from the first activity, 1.1).
How can I change my username and password?
To change your username or password go to My Account, type in your new username or password and click ‘Update’. Click here if you wish to change them now.
How do I update other personal information?
To change any other personal information, go to My Account and update it in the same way.
How can I cancel my Chinese Horizon course?
You can cancel your Chinese Horizon course whenever you want. To cancel your course, go to My Account and click on 'Cancel'. In this case you will not be charged (again).
What does my Placement Test score mean?
The Placement Test indicates your level of Chinese in terms of the Chinese Horizon courses, based on our general Chinese curriculum. At the end of the test, you are given a suggested starting level at Chinese Horizon.
