For how long can I record my voice with the recording tool bar? |
- You can record continuously for 2 minutes maximum.

| Do I have to save what I have recorded each time, and where do I store my recordings? |
- Yes, if you want to keep what you have recorded, you need to save it on your hard disk. And make sure not to leave spaces in the file name when you're saving it.
- Each time you record something new, it will overwrite your previous recording.

| Can I mail the recordings to the teacher for checking? |
- Yes, you can mail the recordings to a CH teacher for checking through your email account by clicking (MAIL To TE@CHER) on the control panel at the bottom of the text display screen, and attaching the file of your recording.
- Please do not send files larger than 3MB in size.

| Why can't I record my voice on the tool bar? |
- Check that the sound recording and playback volume is properly set
- Make sure you have switched on the microphone
- If your microphone is switched off, right click the sound volume control at bottom right of your desktop and choose 'Open Volume Controls', then make sure the microphone control is not set on 'Mute'
- We recommend that you use headphones to make and listen to your recordings

| Why doesn't the recording tool bar display? |
- After installing the recording software, you need to refresh the web page by clicking Course Overview before using the tool.

| Why can't I successfully install the recording tool? |
- It may because you have installed the tool previously and some of the files are destroyed for some reason. In this situation, please remove the CH recording software completely and reinstall it.
- To remove any damaged files, click on Add or Remove Programs in the Control Panel, then on 'CH Recording Tool', then on 'Remove'.

| How do I Install The CH recording tool? |
- After opening the lesson page, click on the downloading icon to the left, under the lesson screen, and then click 'next step', following the instructions for downloading the software, and then click Course Overview to refresh the page
- Then click the 'record' button, the recording tool bar will display on the screen,
ready to use.
